AutoDome Junior HD Fixed Camera

We've expanded the AutoDome Junior HD series with a new fixed camera model. The AutoDome Junior HD Fixed Camera provides the same 1080p or 720p resolutions, 10x optical zoom and compact size as the rest of the series, making it an ideal indoor fixed camera choice for applications where both highly-detailed imaging and aesthetics are important.

Banking, retail, casino, and government or commercial building applications will benefit from the camera’s crisp, clear images that make it easier to identify people or small objects, such as jewelry. HD video also delivers increased situational awareness with a 16:9 aspect ratio that maximizes the field of view without compromising image details.

Quad-streaming provides simultaneous streaming of high-quality video with differing frame rate and resolution settings for flexibility in system design. For example, customers can select 1080p or 720p HD video for recording with H.264 compression, while simultaneously sending JPEG images to a hand-held device.

The camera also offers built-in Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) software to automatically process video signals and alert operators to potential security risks. The higher pixel densities captured by the AutoDome Junior HD Fixed Camera enables optimized performance of IVA with improved detection for loitering, line crossing and other potential threats.

For easy installation, the AutoDome Junior HD Fixed Camera allows operators to commission the camera from a remote head-end unit, eliminating the need for hands-on focusing at the camera. Once the camera is configured, operators can use the built-in Web interface, Bosch Configuration Manager or the Bosch Video Management System to remotely position it and fix its location without removing the bubble or connecting a monitor directly to the camera.

Power over Ethernet Plus support also enables a single cable connection to power, control and view images from the camera. In addition, conformance to the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) standard makes it simple to integrate the camera with other IP video equipment.

The compact AutoDome Junior HD Fixed Camera is ideal for discrete surveillance. Its rugged, vandal-resistant housing helps protect the camera from damage and theft, ensuring years of reliable operation in the toughest environments.

New Outdoor Thermal IP Cameras

The VOT-320 Thermal IP fixed camera series enables round-the-clock monitoring in any lighting condition. The cameras combine the advantages of thermal imaging with Intelligent Video Analysis capabilities for a unique security solution for early threat detection – even in complete darkness, heavy fog or snow.

The new cameras provide uncooled long wave thermal images to capture heat-radiating objects up to nearly 13,000 feet away. They are available with narrow or wide field of view lenses with a frame rate of 8.33 or 30 Hz. A Vanadium Oxide focal plane array with a resolution of 320x240 pixels delivers outstanding image quality and sensitivity, producing surveillance video that is not constricted by shadows, low light conditions or adverse weather. The VOT‑320 Thermal IP Cameras also use advanced video processing technology for pixel-by-pixel analysis and noise reduction to provide the most detailed information from the scene.

The VOT-320 cameras feature Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) optimized for thermal imaging. This advanced processing feature automatically analyzes video signals for suspicious activities or hazardous situations and alerts operators to potential risks. IVA captures comprehensive details of recorded scenes, helping operators find any event quickly – even those not pre-defined as alerts.

With tri-streaming, the cameras can simultaneously produce two H.264 streams and one JPEG stream. This allows you to have a high-resolution H.264 stream for live viewing and recording and a second lower resolution H.264 stream for constrained bandwidth networks, while JPEG images are sent to another device.

Record video on an iSCSI storage array without the need for additional software or locally on a Secure Digital (SD) card to provide increased reliability in the event of a network failure.

For easy installation, the cameras conform to the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) specification, which guarantees interoperability between network video products regardless of manufacturer.

The series includes rugged housings that are IP 66 rated and feature an integrated window heater. It is ideal for a range of applications, including transportation hubs, traffic monitoring, industrial sites, and homeland security applications.

Bosch Recording Station Provides Flexible Solution for IP Video System Management

Bosch Recording Station records up to 32 high definition (HD) or standard definition video sources per station. It also easily integrates access solutions, alarm panels and external components, such as ATM and POS terminals or license plate capture equipment, into a complete solution.

The software’s versatility and seamless interfacing with security and building management systems makes it ideal for many applications, including banks, large retail stores, airports, railway stations, city centers and industrial facilities.

With flexible network access options, including unlimited remote receiver stations, the Bosch Recording Station is ideal for distributed network surveillance. Live and recorded video can be retrieved from anywhere in the network to give authorized personnel access to the information they need, whether on site or at a remote location. The intuitive user interface allows images from multiple remote stations to be viewed from a single receiver station, allowing security managers to supervise various locations simultaneously via LAN or low bandwidth WAN connections.

Recordings from different stations can be replayed simultaneously in one interface, and powerful functions like Smart Motion Search help to locate important video quickly. Operators can export video to an archive by pressing a single button, and digital watermarks ensure recording credibility. Scheduled exports also enable regular back up of recordings on various storage devices, including external disk arrays and network attached storage.

The Bosch Recording Station supports H.264, MPEG-4 and JPEG IP video sources and is capable of displaying video at any resolution up to 3 megapixel, including HD widescreen.

200 Series HD Cameras - All-in-One Surveillance Systems

We've added two high definition (HD) cameras to our 200 Series of complete network surveillance systems – bringing 720p HD video into the realm of small businesses. The NBC-265-P camera comes complete with a varifocal lens, and the NDC-265-P dome camera features an auto-iris lens that adapts to different lighting conditions.

With excellent image quality and accurate color reproduction, the new progressive scan cameras provide the detail needed to distinguish fine features important for object recognition. The 200 Series HD cameras produce more pixels per target object to retain sharpness and clarity even when zoomed in. This capability makes it easier to monitor monetary transactions and keep track of small, high value items, such as jewelry. HD video also delivers increased situational awareness using a 16:9 image format that maximizes the field of view.

The 200 Series IP cameras, now including six models, are easy to install and operate. Each camera comes with a Secure Digital (SD) flash memory card for storing days of recorded video without a connected PC. No technical expertise is required to set-up the cameras. You simply insert the SD card, plug in the camera with a single cable, and viewing and recording starts immediately.

This all-in-one surveillance series can also be easily extended by connecting a video recorder or an iSCSI server. Efficient H.264 image compression reduces the requirements for storage by up to 30 percent compared to traditional surveillance technology, an important cost-saving feature.

With the included Bosch Video Client software, you can remotely view recorded video from up to 16 HD or standard definition cameras on a single PC monitor. The software makes it easy to display camera streams, archive video and locate specific events quickly using its Smart Search feature.

In addition, the IP Camera 200 Series provides built-in motion, tamper and audio detection that can trigger an action, such as setting off an alarm or increasing recording quality to capture more details in a scene. The two-way audio capability allows operators to communicate with visitors, employees or intruders via the camera.

Fully conformant with the latest Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) standard, the IP Camera 200 Series offers compatibility with other ONVIF surveillance products. This helps users save on future upgrade or migration costs.
